Adobe Illustrator is an extensive, mature drawing program designed for both print and the Web. This professional graphics program packs a punch with powerful vector drawing tools, clean PostScript output, and tight integration with Photoshop and other programs in the Adobe family. New version adds new drawing and automation goodies, such as Arc, Rectangular Grid, and Polar Grid tools; editable warping effects; and symbols (adaptable master copies of objects or images) that you can manipulate with brushes and other creative devices. Work flow tools, such as integrated data-driven graphics, allow you to create templates that link back to a database. The new Illustrator also offers more features for Web production.
